About Us
We chose Dubai deliberately. The city sits at a unique intersection of capital, technology, entrepreneurship, trade and international business, a gateway between East and West, between established markets and the world's most dynamic emerging ones.
Falqora Gate Ventures was founded on a simple but powerful observation: Dubai has become one of the world's great crossroads for founders, capital and ambition, yet very few investors were connecting that ecosystem with the depth and patience that early-stage companies genuinely need.
We are not a large institution deploying capital across hundreds of bets. We are a focused, hands-on team that invests with conviction and stays involved over the long term. Every company we back receives our attention, our network, and our willingness to do the difficult work alongside them.
Dubai is home to founders from virtually every corner of the world. It increasingly serves as a launchpad into the wider GCC, Middle East, Africa and Asia. Great companies travel. Our investments can begin anywhere. Our perspective is global. Our network starts in the Gulf.
Venture capital should be about more than capital. The cheque gets a company started. Relationships can help it move faster.
Why The Name
The falcon has been a symbol of vision, speed and precision in Gulf culture for millennia. A gate is a threshold between what is and what could be.
Together, they capture what we do: help exceptional founders move through the gate from potential to reality, with the clarity and velocity that the moment demands.
Our Network
Our wider network includes founders, executives, investors, family offices, strategic companies and specialists across the Gulf and international markets. We do not view that network as a logo wall. We use it actively, and on behalf of the companies we back.
Every person at Falqora Gate has built something, invested in something, or advised something through the hard parts. We are not observers. We are participants.
Hitesh Bodani
Managing Partner
Hitesh co-founded Falqora Gate after two decades at the intersection of technology, capital markets and operations across the Gulf and South Asia. He has served on the boards of six portfolio companies, led multiple M&A processes, and built the firm's LP relationships from the ground up. His approach to investing is shaped by years of operating businesses directly, not simply advising them. He brings a rigorous, founder-first perspective to every deal the firm considers.
Aida Abdullah Fahad
Investment Partner & Principal
Aida leads deal sourcing, due diligence and portfolio support at Falqora Gate. She brings deep expertise in fintech, digital health and consumer technology, shaped by her background as an operator in the GCC and her time as a principal at a regional growth equity firm. Aida has evaluated over 400 early-stage companies and has a sharp instinct for the intersection of product-market fit and timing. She is the firm's primary point of contact for new founder relationships.
Marcus Nkosi
Partner, Fintech & Growth
Marcus spent eight years at a tier-one investment bank before co-founding a fintech platform in Johannesburg that served over 300,000 small businesses. He brings a rare combination of institutional financial rigour and operator-level experience building a growth-stage company from scratch. He leads financial diligence and portfolio growth strategy at Falqora Gate.
Rania Latif
Venture Partner, Healthcare
Rania is a physician-turned-entrepreneur who founded a digital health startup in Riyadh before transitioning to investing. She advises portfolio companies in the healthcare and life sciences space and is deeply connected to hospital networks, regulators and family offices across the GCC. She holds a medical degree from King Abdulaziz University and an MPH from Johns Hopkins.
James Whitmore
Strategic Advisor, North America
Former General Partner at a San Francisco-based venture fund with two exits above $500M. James advises Falqora Gate on North American deal flow, LP relationships, and how to position GCC-based companies for US market entry. He sits on the board of three Series B companies in the enterprise software space.
Dr. Fatima Hassan
Strategic Advisor, Policy & Regulation
A former senior advisor to the UAE Ministry of Economy and the DIFC Authority, Dr. Hassan provides guidance on regulatory strategy, government relations, and the frameworks governing financial services and technology investment in the Gulf. She has been recognised among the 100 most influential figures in Arab business for three consecutive years.
Takeshi Kuroda
Strategic Advisor, Asia-Pacific
A veteran operator and investor with 20 years of experience bridging Japanese and Middle Eastern capital markets. Takeshi founded and sold two technology businesses in Tokyo and Singapore and has deep connections with family offices and sovereign wealth vehicles across Japan, Singapore and South Korea. He advises Falqora Gate on Asia-Pacific expansion strategy for portfolio companies.
Conviction over consensus
We make decisions based on our own analysis and judgment, not because everyone else agrees. The best investments are rarely the obvious ones.
Honesty over comfort
We tell founders what we genuinely think, in due diligence and in the boardroom. A useful investor is an honest one, even when honesty is harder.
Long-term over short-term
We are not optimising for the next quarter. We are building relationships and companies that last. Our interests are always aligned with the founder's long-term success.
What makes the Gulf compelling is not just the capital. It is the intersection of relationships: sovereign wealth funds, family offices, trading houses and multinational businesses operating from a single time zone that sits between Europe, Asia and Africa.
We use that position deliberately, to open doors for our portfolio companies that would take years to find through other paths.
